Lakeland Strainer
Consultancy kitchenware design project for Lakeland. The product provides a 440mm high structural apparatus to secure a strainer bag to allow the separation of 2kg of pulp material to efficiently strain jellies, juices, soups, wine and beer.
The Strainer is a single ABS injection moulding repeated 3 times.
This creates a system that is easily assembled, highly stable and is economically efficient in terms of tooling investment. It is designed to stack for storage. The product offers a support system constructed from a single component, and this moulding is the result of straight A-B tooling which does not require any expensive side action tooling features.
Materials: Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
