Lakeland Scrudle

Consultancy product design project for Lakeland. The Scrudle is a cross between a scraper, a scoop and a ladle. Unlike a round-bottomed ladle, the flat ‘spatula’ edge of the Scrudle reaches right into corners ensuring all the food makes it from the pot to the plate. The concept, devised by Margaret O’Callaghan, was the winner of the Finish Diamond Standard Innovation Challenge, judged by celebrity chef, Heston Blumenthal. Jarvie-Design developed the appearance of the product and its suitability for manufacture.

Materials: Polypropylene (PP)
Client: Lakeland
